Kirtland Community College in Michigan considered privatizing the handling of adjunct faculty payroll to avoid pension contributions for adjuncts. The school would still decide which adjuncts to hire and fire, so this would add another layer of dishonesty to the existing one that faculty who work for them for decades are "temporary" workers.

Rarely performed, this excellent Sondheim musical will be performed at Lakeland Community College in Kirtland, Ohio, near Cleveland for first three weekends February 2009. It is an exciting, if gory play, interpreted very cleverly by the talented director and fabulous cast!
